An art studio ran by Depke Andres and her daughter closes.(2)
Fairbury City Council granted preliminary approval of a three year union contract.
A major section of Fairbury's water supply was under extensive renovation.
Fairbury businessman Bob Atkins, was
awarded the 1993 Fairbury Community Service Award from the Chamber
of Commerce for his efforts to have a mural painted on the north
side of the Rexall Pharmacy.
1994
Fairbury residents Bob and Wauneta Burkley presented Jefferson Memorial Hospital officials with a check for $750,000 to help fund a wellness center at the hospital.
Kenneth Roesler, Western, was presented with a 30 year service award by the National Weather Service.
