Original land purchased in 1920 for the purpose of a park.
In 1922, work had begun developing the acreage added to the former Highland Park, to be known as McNish Park, Fairbury.
Named after Mr. and Mrs. McNish who donated some lots to add to the park
You will currently find a playground, picnic shelter areas and a
disc golf course.
